Dear Black Kansas City:
“We are tired of politics as usual. We still feel left out and alienated…”

We hereby endorse Mr. Tyrone Garner as the candidate for the party Mayor CEO of the Unified Government of Wyandotte County Kansas City Kansas.
The main goals and aim of Tyrone Garner are to step into community development and policing reform, as well as, entrepreneurship, mental illness resources, (CIT), substance abuse, and, let’s not forget, he STOOD UP FOR US, and went against the grain when it came to the bad policing issue in KCK.
Low income, discrimination, high utility bills, and homelessness in KCK have become a national shame. We know that entrepreneurship, black-owned, and minority-owned-business development is the future, and it is the heart of a stable family unit. Tyrone Garner is an ally to black and minority entrepreneurs, and he believes in streamlining, an audit, and abolishing the redlining, as well as, the red-tape which blocks ‘us’ from many opportunities.
Tyrone sees East KCK as the goldmine of opportunity, which we know that it is.
Additionally, he has spoken up for us in regards to the ‘big chiefs’ that line up in current KCK politics. And, while Mayor David Alvey talks about diversity, Tyrone Garner is diversity. Failure of government at many levels to enhance the lifestyles, ensure the social and economic conditions, are solely to be blamed for the low incomes, lack of entrepreneurial opportunities, and homelessness.
Each American has the right to secure basic human needs, and that includes health
care, a livelihood, a safe, empowering, and permanent, affordable place to live.
Neglectful Leadership is the issue.
In the past, they have tried to recruit grocery store chains and retail establishments from outside the community for growth within our community, whereas Tyrone Garner believes in investing in us, and empowering us. We have issued our endorsement as we believe Tyrone Garner is the best and most
qualified candidate for our community at large. Tyrone, truly believes in ‘one
Wyandotte County’ and can do what it takes to unify us.

21st Century Police Reform,
Entrepreneurship,
Mayor Monday’s Open Door Policy
Latin Community Involvement
BPU Audit,
Unified Government Review,
Safe & Welcoming Immigration,
Develop Opportunities/KCK East,
Equal Representation In Government,
End Economic Segregation,
Pushing Forward “The Will Of The People” and,
Streamline KCK Government.
Together, we can turn KCK around and enhance the quality of life for all of KCK. We
look forward to making Tyrone Garner our KCK Mayor so that we can all act on these
principles.
