Celebrating Juneteenth is necessary for Blacks in America because it celebrates our freedom and sheds light on the opportunity those freedoms allow.

Celebrating Miss Juneteenth is just as necessary. Honoring Miss Juneteenth brings awareness to youth in our community who are using their talents and abilities in a way that shines on others.

JuneteenthKC is now recruiting young ladies ages 12-17 years old to apply to participate in the first annual. Becoming Miss JuneteenthKC Pageant on May 15th!! JuneteenthKC will be providing all youth gowns, activity supplies, and pageant engagement resources.
